Peaks & Trails leads a four-day Sirimon–Chogoria traverse with mountain guides and porters. The package includes park fees, huts and camping, and all mountain meals.

KWS-licensed mountain guides for Mount Kenya and the Aberdares.

Itinerary

Sample schedule for this package; timings depend on conditions.

1. Day 1 · Sirimon Gate to Old Moses

   Meet your guide team and ascend through forest to the first overnight stop. Your group package: Park fees, Huts and camping, All meals.

2. Day 2 · Trek to Shipton's

   Walk through the moorlands at an acclimatisation pace with your mountain guides.

3. Day 3 · Point Lenana and descent

   Start before dawn for the summit, weather permitting, then descend toward the Chogoria route.

4. Day 4 · Chogoria exit

   Continue through forest to the park exit and finish your traverse.
